Success of the 2025 Christmas Gift Campaign

The Young Barnet Foundation’s annual Christmas Gift Campaign once again brought the Barnet community together to spread joy, kindness, and generosity. Now in its eighth year, the 2025 campaign showcased the strength of collaboration between local residents, schools, businesses, and voluntary organisations—ensuring that children and young people in need felt valued and supported during the festive season.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we distributed 3,418 gifts to children and young people across Barnet. Since the campaign began in 2018, more than 16,400 gifts have now been distributed, reaching families through 44 beneficiary organisations and 15 Barnet Children’s Centres across the borough.

Key corporate and community donations

Thanks to the generosity of our community, the Christmas Gift Campaign raised nearly £26,000, demonstrating the depth of support for children, young people, and families across Barnet.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed financially, including local residents who chose to donate directly through our website. Every online donation, no matter the size, played an important role in supporting the successful delivery of the campaign.

The backbone of the campaign’s funding came from generous corporate and community donors, including SNAP inc, The Hadley Trust, Kier Tarmac, Marlborough Highways, Colne Valley Mechanical,Colne Valley Electrical, GNC Flooring, The Barnet Group BOOST, Quinn London LTD, Barnet Copthall Masters Swimming Club, and Suzanne Chandler.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to St Andrew’s School, St Paul’s School, and Holmewood School for their fantastic fundraising efforts. The generosity shown by individuals, schools, businesses, and residents across the borough has been truly overwhelming.

Our Volunteers

This campaign would not have been possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, who collectively contributed 488 volunteer hours to help wrap, sort, and distribute gifts. Their time, energy, and commitment were vital to the success of the Christmas Gift Campaign.

We would like to extend our special thanks to the teams from The Hill Group, SNAP inc, The Barnet Group BOOST, Marlborough Highways, Youth Justice Services (YJS), LBB Children’s Services, and Kier Tarmac, whose dedication and enthusiasm played a key role during our corporate and community wrapping events.

The Christmas Gift Campaign continues to reflect the strong sense of community and generosity that defines Barnet. To everyone who volunteered their time, supported the campaign, and shared their kindness—thank you for helping to make Christmas 2025 brighter for so many children and young people.
